After developing a quick love for the game during my freshman year in high school, I began playing hockey as much as possible. This eventually led to coaching and officiating while following my favorite team, the New York Islanders. During my high school years I reported about the teams that I played for in the school paper and began blogging about the Isles in my college years that followed while majoring in English with a History Minor at Stony Brook University. With the youth movement in full swing I have begun covering the seasonal development of all the Islanders, particularly the players who are the future of the franchise. The goal of my blog is to provide a realistic approach as what to expect out of the Isles younger players and how actions over the course of the season will affect them while monitoring their progress as well. I am a member of the NYI Blog Box and my site can be accessed by clicking the link below. www.my.hockeybuzz.com/offthepost
