The league leading Canadiens squeaked out a win last night in Brooklyn, but the Islanders are right back at it tonight against the Penguins in Pittsburgh. The Penguins have not been handed a regulation loss yet in their own building, and to make matters a bit more difficult for the Islanders, Sidney Crosby is now back in the lineup. The good news for the Islanders is Anthony Beauvillier, who went down during the game against the Canadiens, played the rest of the game and appeared fine. He’s shown excellent resilience and confidence so far this season and has played a significant role in the Islanders wins to this point. Personally, I was impressed with one play in particular; in the 2nd period, Beauvillier took the puck down the wing in an attempt to get around Shea Weber. Weber eventually closed the gap and forced him to the outside, but the fact he event attempted it is impressive, especially against Weber. Islanders Video of the Day: Weber’s blast
